Telus Mobility Roaming and Travelling outside Canada

Cell phone and iPads on the Daytona Capital Corp Telus Mobility plan are managed under Telus Business Mobility and some of the travel and roaming rates are different under "Telus Business" vs the consumer offerings of Telus Moblilty.

 

Tacada paid Telus devices have a feature enabled that allows for free roaming while in USA, called Roam Ready USA, and provides the following features:

 

1) Free roaming while in USA.

 

2) Unlimited calling for $20: When you make or receive a call from the U.S.A., roaming with unlimited calling is automatically activated for the current billing cycle.

 

3) Flex Data fees started at $30 per 500MB:  Roaming data plan is automatically activated when you first use data from within the U.S.A. and scales with your usage.

 

4) Unlimited SMS texting for $2: When you send an SMS from the U.S.A., roaming with unlimited SMS is automatically activated for the current billing cycle.
