SMART kapp board FAQ
1) What can I use to write on them?
You can use any dry-erase marker. DO NOT use any permanent markers, Sharpies, pens, pencils, paint, highlighters, etc. Only use dry-erase markers meant for whiteboards.
2) How to erase/clean the SMART board
Use the circular eraser located at the bottom left of the SMART board. You can also use a regular whiteboard eraser or a microfiber cloth.
A microfiber cloth will be found near each board to do a more thorough cleaning. When using the microfiber cloth, only dampen the cloth with a bit of water.
No chemical cleaners needed. Try not to use paper towel, as they can potentially damage the screen.
3) How often does the board need to be cleaned with a microfiber cloth and water?
When attendees see squiggly lines that don’t match what the host is writing on the board, that is an indicator that the board needs to be cleaned with a microfiber cloth and some water.
