How to check your sump pump? (Excluding walk out basement)
-Find where your sump pit is.
-Undo the four screws on your sump pit lid.
-Open the lId and you should see sump pump, a float and cable attached to your sump pump and float.
-Reach down to the float and lift it up and you should hear the pump turn on soon you lift the float high enough, and the pump will turn off soon you drop the float down.
-Attached are a few pictures that might be helpful.
